The posts that don’t belong anywhere else end up here, and they’re some of my favorites. Reflections on the year behind me, unexpected parallels between trail running and business, and stories from my time with Richard Branson on Necker Island.
In “Reflecting on 2025,” I took stock of the year as we settled into a new one. It’s something I try to do honestly, looking at what worked, what didn’t, and what I want to carry forward.
“What Trail Running Teaches You About Business” came from finishing a race with 1,572m of elevation gain in just over five hours. Pushing through something like that changes how you think about endurance in every other area of your life.
Then there’s my bike ride with Richard Branson. That story says a lot about who he is as a person, and it’s one I keep coming back to. I also spent a week on his private island and collected some of his best quotes in a separate post.
With 9 posts here and more on the way, this is the space where I write about whatever is on my mind. Read them in order or skip around. Either way works.
