Awards, fellowships, and milestone moments for me and Rootd. I don’t write about these to brag. I write about them because each one came with a story worth telling.

Last May 1st, I received the Emerging Leader of the Year award at the VIATEC Awards. Standing on that stage felt like a long way from where I started, and I wanted to document what that moment meant.

Rootd was selected for the C100 Fellows Program in 2024. A great mid-week pick-me-up and a sign that the work we’re doing is reaching the right people.

My Cartier Fellowship was a big one. Being part of the Cartier Women’s Initiative as a 2023 fellow opened doors I didn’t even know existed. I was also featured in a short video by the initiative that I’ve linked in the post.

This section will keep growing as new recognitions come in. I write about these honestly, not as press releases but as personal milestones that mark where Rootd and I have been.
